The fires were one k from my house.. 10 or more people died just 1k from me! On Saturday my mum and sister left with some belongings and dad, my uncle and I stayed to fight, I would have been scared running if I knew how serious these fires were. I must say we had very little warning, and even now the media is covering the destruction the fires have caused and are leaving out the fact that they are still very much going, we need warnings! Anyway... Its so disgusting what has happened, people are so desperate, its just unbelievable.
